Ivy-Lea is nestled in the farming fields on the outskirts of the tranquil village of Lympstone, with panoramic views to the ancient Woodbury common SSSI, and over the RSPB protected nature reserves of Exe estuary to the forests of Mamhead and Haldon. The client wanted to double the footprint of the existing bungalow by adding another storey and thus making the most of the beautiful views.
We were commissioned to carry out the associated first fix carpentry works involved in extending the roof, whilst the materials, were supplied by the client. During the building works the client and his family remained living in the rooms on the ground floor.
