In 2014 we won the tender to refurbish an Edwardian terraced house in the centre of Exeter. The house is situated in a tucked away location overlooking the university park and a stone’s throw from the city centre. An ideal place for the clients to raise their young children and juggle family life with work.
The project was designed by BARC architects to a contemporary, high end specification. The work transformed the traditional house into a light filled family home with an open plan kitchen and living area. At the rear of the property a glass extension was built to house the new family space and to connect it with the garden.
The upper floors were completely refurbished and new bathrooms were fitted.
The modern look with white walls and tiled floors meant that the finish had to be perfect.
